REMOVING and REPLACING Snap-On Handles
To change the handle, turn the pan upside down and lay it on a flat surface. Notice the wide slot between the flame guard and the pan. Using a flat-head screwdriver, insert the tip into the right or left side of the slot (you may want to put a tape on the screwdriver to prevent from scratching the pan), and twist the screwdriver until the spring inside the handle releases on that side. Move the screwdriver to the other side of the slot and twist the screwdriver and that side will release.
Be sure you have the right size handle for the right size pan. There are three (3) sizes, small, medium and large. See www.healthcraft.com Replacement Parts for details on what pan takes what handle.
To install the new handle. Be sure the flame guard is installed on the handle properly. Put the handle on as far as it will go. Then give the handle a good tap on a cutting board (or a good tap with a rubber mallet), the spring inside the handle will push over the prongs on the end of the stainless attachment and lock the handle in place.

It would be nice to have the measurement of the handle. I have some handles and thought they were the large, so ordered 4 medium, only to find I have 4 medium one already.

We love our cookware that we have owned for over 15 years. But, for the price that we paid for it, a replacement handle should be supplied at no charge, or at least no shipping.

The part fit, the disappointment came from having one white and one black handle know. When this set was sold to us with a lifetime warranty my expectation was that at least the parts would be available during my lifetime. These were extremely expensive when we purchased them. Now the look ghetto with mismatched parts.

Quality as expected.

I am having a hard time removing the handle following Heathcraft instruction using a screw driver to pry it out
Still unable to remove it
Find it ridiculous having to do this with a lifetime warranty expensive pan

For a lifetime warranty this should be free, no instructions, had to have son use force to attach handle, and I now have a pan with two different colored handles...oh well, better than what I had before....

Happy with the product. But since I bought it with a lifetime warranty I feel they should have been replaced free. The handles are made in such a way that this problem of burning will never go away. Very unsafe.
Next time use your customer number for a pro-rated warranty discount. Also, please try using medium or medium low heat. If your handles are burning to much heat is going up the side of the pan. Health Craft Customer Service

Wish the handles were white as I purchased an entire set of your products in 1999. I understand you are looking for a company to make the handles. Your product are wonderful but now my products are not matching. Good luck in finding a company that can duplicate your great product..

I must say that your cookware is very good, with the exception of the handles on you pots. this is the 3rd one that I've had to order because with the heat from cooking with them, the handles detereoriate and fall apart. I bought a set of you pots and pans at the la county fair a long time ago. the receipt i have for them says a lifetime guarente, but when i called to complain about the first handle that broke apart no one would return my call after numerous attempt to get afree handle sent to me. terrible just terrible.
RESPONSE: Your cookware is covered by a Lifetime Guaranty – which includes a trade-in provision where you can trade in the ceramic handle pan for the stainless handle pan by just paying the difference between the price then and now. BTY: a burnt handle is not a manufacturers defect, it’s from using too high of heat or too big a burner for the size of the pan. BTY: at least we stock handle replacements, most other cookware companies do not.
