REMOVING and REPLACING Snap-On Handles

To change the handle, turn the pan upside down and lay it on a flat surface. Notice the slot between the flame guard and the pan. Using a flathead screwdriver, insert the tip into the slot (you may want to put a tape on the screwdriver to prevent from scratching the pan), and twist the screwdriver until the spring inside the handle releases.

Be sure you have the right size handle for the right size pan. There are three (3) size long handles, 1) small long handle fits 1 quart and small skillet, 2) push button long handle and large long handle fit 9.5 and 11.25 inch sauté skillets and 13 inch French skillet. See www.healthcraft.com Replacement Parts for details on what pan takes what handle.

To install the new handle. Be sure the flame guard is installed on the handle properly. Put the handle on as far as it will go. Then give the handle a good tap on a cutting board (or a good tap with a rubber mallet), the spring inside the handle will push over the prongs on the end of the stainless attachment and lock the handle in place.

  1. Fit like a glove 5 Star Review

I recently dropped my pan on the floor and because of my gas stove the handle was worn and broke in many pieces. I looked on my pan and the name, and phone number was etched on it so I went online for the Healthy Craft name and was able to order a new handle. I really like my pans and they hang on the wall, so a handle is very important. Thanks for being readily accessible.
