REMOVING and REPLACING Snap-On Handles

To change the handle, turn the pan upside down and lay it on a flat surface. Notice the wide slot between the flame guard and the pan. Using a flathead screwdriver, insert the tip into the right or left side of the slot (you may want to put a tape on the screwdriver to prevent from scratching the pan), and twist the screwdriver until the spring inside the handle releases on that side. Move the screwdriver to the other side of the slot and twist the screwdriver and that side will release.

Be sure you have the right size handle for the right size pan. There are three (3) sizes, small, medium and large. See www.healthcraft.com Replacement Parts for details on what pan takes what handle.

To install the new handle. Be sure the flame guard is installed on the handle properly. Put the handle on as far as it will go. Then give the handle a good tap on a cutting board (or a good tap with a rubber mallet), the spring inside the handle will push over the prongs on the end of the stainless attachment and lock the handle in place.

  1. Terrific! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Apr 2014

Need to replace old white handles that our gas burners had damaged.

These are perfect. Like the black color better than the white. Need to use a bit of force to get them to snap onto pot, but they are never coming off!

  2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Jan 2014

Instructions on how to replace the handles are directly above.

The handles are cover under warranty IF the handle comes off at the weld the entire pan is replaced at no charge. Your only cost is to ship it back to the factory.

  3. Should be covered by warranty 3 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Sep 2013

Considering the cost of the cookware, it is a shame the handles are not covered by the warranty. Surprised the handles are made of material that disintegrates & falls apart after yrs of use (I have never had this happen with other cookware). No directions came with replacement handles & the first one we tried to attach broke. According to your representative, the handle will be replaced after I return it.

  4. SNAP-ON SIDE HANDLE 5 Star Review

THE SNAP-ON SIDE HANDLE JUST AS GOOD AS ORIGINAL. IT JUST DOESN'T SNAP ON,BUT REQUIRES A LITTLE FORCE WITH A RUBBER MALLET.

  5. Handles for small 2 qt. pot 4 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Jun 2013

Received the handles on a timely basis; however, there were no instructions on how to "snap" them on the pot. Would recommend including a small insert with the handles to show how to apply them as it is not a "snap".
